Schools with advanced German instruction
DSD schools
Pupils at more than 50 state and private schools in the Russian Federation have the opportunity to attain the German Language Diploma of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs – or DSD for short.
The DSD is the only certificate of German language proficiency offered at schools in Russia which is recognised by universities in Germany.
The network of Russian schools at which students can attain the DSD is supervised by the Central Agency for German Schools Abroad (ZfA).
“Fit Schools”
Aside from schools which confer DSD certificates, there are a number of so-called “Fit Schools” in Russia. These schools offer advanced German instruction under the guidance of the Goethe-Institut. They prepare students to take the “Fit in Deutsch (Goethe-Zertifikat)” examination at the A1 or A2 language level.
Using this interactive map, you can find out which Russian cities have DSD and “Fit Schools”.
